Will tuning DB2 for z/OS buffer pools lead to a reduction in package CPU TIME in a DB2 monitor accounting report? I expected to see a reduction in elapsed time and suspension time. I expected SRB time to shrink, but I thought the CPU TIME reported for each package would remain more or less the same. But in looking at before and after tuning data, I'm seeing reduced CPU.

IBM completed its acquisition of DataMirror and Princeton Softech. Operations from both companies will be integrated into the IBM Information Management group.

DataMirror technology identifies and captures data that has been added, updated, or deleted and allows the changed data to be delivered in real time to processes, applications and databases. Princeton Softech technology handles data archiving, test data management, data privacy, data classification, and discovery.
